After exploring France and Belgium, I returned to Iceland for a couple of days. I rented a car again and headed out on what is commonly referred to as The Golden Circle. It is a very easy drive and route to see some of the main Iceland tourist sites. I drove the ‘circle’ counterclockwise as I was scheduled to snorkel the Silfra Rift in Thingvellir National Park the following morning before returning for a day in Reykjavik. Rather than writing about the trip and the sites I will let the photos do the talking.
