So I figured that before I set off on my next journey this week, that I should post the pictures from my last one. This year I was finally able to travel with the rest of my family to Cuba during the winter. We spent a week at Club Amigo Guardalavaca, where my parents have been dozens of times and I have been two previous times (during the summer). We spent most of the time around the hotel and the beach, but did spend two days travelling around and meeting with some Cuban friends. One trip took us to Holguin and then Gibara. Holguin is a busy city with a main town square that has many shops and street vendors. Gibara is a quieter little fishing town. We had a nice lunch in a little bed and breakfast type place there.
It was a great trip and I can’t wait until my next leave (yes, I have already decided to take one) when we can all return again. Just 3 more years….

Looking forward to the next corner of the world…Nicaragua!
