On to my next adventure

I’m sitting at the airport waiting to board my plane for my next adventure. For the next 10 days I will be back in Nicaragua. I was first in Nicaragua in 2014 with the organization SchoolBox.

SchoolBox builds schools, provides resources and other supports to help improve the education of students in Nicaragua.

Over the next 10 days I will be working on building a classroom at a school near Matagalpa. Currently the junior students in grades 4-6 are sharing a classroom with the kindergarten class. The only separation between the two classrooms is a tarp.

After working at the school we will also have time to explore other parts of the country. I am looking forward to the visit to the coffee co-op farm and tasting some great coffee.
